When the lights go out

One song into the final recording session for the bass guitar the power went out, with a bang. After a moments panic when my laptop turned itself off (it shouldn’t, it’s a laptop for crying out loud), we realised nothing was lost, but nothing more could be done.

So we went to the pub. When the lights came back on (about 3 hours later) we were in no state to continue.

It’s not very rock but I think it helps to be sober.
